Children and parents during the holidays.
Aims:
To offer quality instruction during the holidays, where children will benefit from gaining practical and team skills and develop confidence levels in an open learning space.
Project result:
The children who participated in this gained confidence, team building and collaborative skills.
They also benefited from thinking about and developing ideas of independence and survival skills.
Learning in the open air is proved to enhance wellbeing and evidenced to reduce stress levels.
Some of the children who participated had never been into the woods before.
